Counting My Blessings

The day before Thanksgiving we went to my dad's house to indulge in the one thing not found at every Thanksgiving table, lumpia. Not just any lumpia though, my step-mom's amazing lumpia!

On Thanksgiving day, we went to Chris' mom's parent's house and we sat at the biggest Thanksgiving table I've ever seen.

The pictures don't do it justice, it seated 22 people!

Last night I got a great surprise and reminder to why I love my job and co-workers so much.

My birthday's in 3 days and my co-workers put together a surprise potluck for me!

I count my blessings every day and count them twice on Thanksgiving. I am thankful for all my family - my brothers and sister, dad and step-mom, and for my new family, Chris' family who I've grown to love over the last 8 years and can now officially call my own. I could write thousands of pages about why I love my husband, but most of all, for his endless love and support. He lets me be me, encourages me to grow and act on any fleeting dream that pops into my head. Not once has he ever told me I couldn't do something or said something was out of my reach. If I can dream it, I can do it. He is truly my biggest supporter. I am also thankful that not only have I found my dream job, but I get to live it every day. I have amazing co-workers and I feel like going to work with friends and doing what I love the most is an absolute dream come true.
