Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

Me: "Do you want to do something this weekend?"
Jessica: "Can we go to the boardwalk like they do in Jersey Shore?"
That's my girl.

Jessica and Matt drove up to Santa Cruz with Chris and me and we met up with Keenan and Tricia who were already there as a pit stop on their way to Monterey. We had lunch and soon Vanessa and Matt and Alicia and Mic met up with us. We had a fun day full of riding rides, eating greasy and delicious food, and playing laser tag. We had dinner on the wharf and then went bowling after. A dream day for any 9-year-old boy. Chris obviously had a blast.

Chris: "I can't see, the sun's in my face! I'm closing my eyes!"

His first two throws were 66 mph. If he could guess the speed of his last pitch correctly, he'd win a free hat. He guessed 65 mph. No hat.

Riding Rock&Roll. Jess said, "we have to ride, this is the ride on Jersey Shore!"


We all went into the Haunted Castle. Our "casket" turns around before entering and I caught a picture of Mic, Mike, Vanessa and Alicia...all so scared to go in!


Laser Tag! Chris and I got the same score - 1175. Who won? A 10-year-old girl got 4075! Whaaa?


After the boardwalk we walked to the wharf to have dinner. Stuffed and with time to spare, we decided to go bowling. While waiting for our lane to open, we played air hockey in the arcade.
