Another year, another graduating class. Who, you ask? Our four chief residents are growing up and moving on to bigger and better things! For four years they spent nearly every waking (and sometimes half asleep) moment in the hospital caring for women in all stages of life. They took care of the sick, and helped bring new life into the world. I've had the pleasure to work bedside these women for the first 2.5 years of my nursing career, and they have all taught me a lot. I was lucky enough to go to their graduation this past Saturday as one of their special guests.
All the residents and attendings attempting to take a good group shot...
...again...
...and again...
Without the elbow it would have been perfect!
After dinner and all the speeches, it was time to dance!
All the chiefs (with another resident sneaking in, haha)
I wish them all the best in the future! Now...bring on the new interns =)
Her: A sleep deprived, slightly neurotic, knitting labor and delivery nurse. Him: A fun loving 9-year-old video game junkie trapped in an adult's body. She tries to get him to grow up, and he reminds her how to stay young... Two peas in a pod.
