For as long as I can remember, we've been taking our family Christmas card picture in front of our Christmas tree in our living room. This year, we did more than just the regular old picture.
Regular, run of the mill, Christmas picture.
Cute, yeah? No one's blinking, dogs are in it, we all remember to put shoes on. Boring.
William thought, "let's just turn around and make everyone guess who each person is."
Even Lexi turned around! Silly Maverick...always a step behind everyone else...
Then, it got fun - me and Sarah.
(Do not mind my belly full of pizza.)
I love this picture!
I think every year we need a jumping picture somewhere. I think the picture on the beach when we got married started it all.
This one is just plain entertaining to me.
After watching all of us jumping, my dad and Adel were willing to do it too. Cracks me up every time.
In this busy and hectic time in our lives, I was happy to escape for 2 hours, eat pizza and see my dad, Adel and siblings, and take our yearly Christmas picture. As much as we groan and get irritated about getting together to take a Christmas card picture, I love it. Despite the complaining and whining, we aren't too old and I'll keep taking these pictures as long as my dad wants this to happen. I love that we have years and years of these pictures stored away somewhere. One day I'll get a copy of all the pictures and share them all with you.
Her: A sleep deprived, slightly neurotic, knitting labor and delivery nurse. Him: A fun loving 9-year-old video game junkie trapped in an adult's body. She tries to get him to grow up, and he reminds her how to stay young... Two peas in a pod.
