I've been on a roll with all the handmade baby gift making recently. I hope none of the recipients are bored enough to read my blog because I'm taking this time to brag about all my recent accomplishments.
Purple crocheted baby blanket. I found a random stitch called "snapdragon" and used it throughout. It's the same pattern from the shawl I made from when we got married.
The following blanket is known by many names:
"The magenta and green blanket"
"Seed stitch switch striped blanket" (try saying that 10 times fast)
"The non-cooperative edge blanket"
"The blanket I will never make again"
As if finishing the blanket wasn't trying enough, I made a matching top to go with it.
I'm trying to get a head start on this year's set of pumpkin hats for babies born on Halloween. I did most of the work on these two while at the pool party yesterday.

BABY HATS!
My absolute favorite thing I have ever made in my entire life.
I'm so tempted to just keep it and store it away for the day I have my own son, but alas, I will lovingly give it away to a baby nearly ready to make his entrance into the world.
I love how appreciative moms are when they receive a handmade gift. Really melts my heart. Off to work on more projects!
