Chris and I took a rainy drive to the airport.
We brought balloons.
Sarah and Adel waited.
William and our little cousin, William (we're super original, huh?) waited.
Dad pretended not to be nervous. He took lots and lots of pictures...of nothing.
He and Aunt Kay stared at the gate and waited.
Aunt Kay and Adel waited some more.
With the balloons.
After more waiting than you can imagine, more than the hours at the airport, than the months waiting for their visas...after *years*...they were here. Adel's sons, Dek and Arvin.
Our family just grew, +2.
Her: A sleep deprived, slightly neurotic, knitting labor and delivery nurse. Him: A fun loving 9-year-old video game junkie trapped in an adult's body. She tries to get him to grow up, and he reminds her how to stay young... Two peas in a pod.

That is so very sweet! I know Adel is just beside herself with joy. <3
